River & Rosé Garden
Enjoy our new River & Rosé Garden Bar & Kitchen at The Greyhound – in partnership with Léoube Wines. Enjoy a slice of Provence in beautiful Stockbridge, with ice-cold rosé, cocktails and more.
FOOD & DRINK
We’ve worked closely with Léoube to curate a fabulous new menu concept that can be enjoyed from our Garden Kitchen. From a light sharing board lunch with friends to our freshly made focaccia sandwiches – there’s something for everyone to enjoy alongside our beautiful riverside garden.
Our Garden Bar is also serving up a wide variety of cocktails, as well as beers, wines and more. We’ve got an exciting array of events coming up, as well as pop-ups from Jon at Original Fry Up Material.
Our River & Rosé Garden Bar & Kitchen is open Wednesday to Sunday, but we do recommend checking the special calendar on our website so you can see what’s on and our opening times.
Please note: we do not take reservations for our garden dining area.

We are proud to be working closely with the team at Léoube to bring a little taste of Provence to the banks of the River Test here in Stockbridge. We offer a wide range of their spectacular wines and gin in our new custom made bar – so why not come and sample some for yourself. Pair your visit with a delicious dish from our Garden Kitchen and add a side of sunshine!
Château Léoube sits on the unspoilt coastline of Cap Bénat in Bormes-les-Mimosas — one of Provence’s most admired wine and olive estates. In 1997, Sir Anthony and Lady Carole Bamford fell in love with the neglected estate and set about restoring it with a passion for organic, sustainable farming. Today, the vineyard is certified organic and HVE (High Environmental Value), producing award-winning rosé wines that are unique expressions of the very best of Provence.

Can I make a booking?
Our riverside bar and dining area is walk-in only, but we’re happy to help plan a larger event.
What are your opening hours?
Please see our events calendar above for the days we are open and the timings of our events.
Please note that these hours are subject to change due to private use events taking place in the garden area. Please see our calendar for further details.
Will you open if it rains?
We have a tent that covers the garden with plenty of blankets and heaters so suitable for all weathers. We may however take the decision to adjust our opening hours in the event of prolonged periods of poor weather.
Are you dog friendly?
Absolutely! Well behaved dogs are more than welcome but we do politely request they remain on the lead at all times.
Do you have a dress code?
Please wear whatever makes you comfortable, just be aware that the ground around the river can be soft/muddy at times so sensible shoes are recommended.
Are children welcome?
Of course. However due to the rivers surrounding the area we ask children to be accompanied by an adult at all times and are not allowed to wander alone.
Do you have toilets?
We certainly do, however please note that the walkway to the facilities is not undercover so we always recommend that you dress appropriately for the conditions.
